Does this sound dodgy to you?
|
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7019831/Three-year-old-changes-boy-girl-living-foster-parents-son-transitioned-aged-seven.html
These foster parents have now - by SHEER COINCIDENCE - had 3 kids in their care deciding to 'change gender'. I think its 3, unless I interpreted it incorrectly. Even 2 kids deciding they're 'trans' or whatever you call it is quite the statistical blip, wouldn't you agree?
One as young as 3 years old.
And a judge says everything's tickety boo, carry on as you are.

Apart from that, applying Darwin's theory would work for me. Weirdos, perverts and degenerates will be bred out of existence. Good
...and who are any of us to say what is right for another human being as long as it isn't harming anyone else?
I am.not for a minute suggesting that children as young as 3 should be thought to know what gender they are or want to be. However in your way of thinking where do we draw the line? Who counts as weird enough that evolution should be wiping them.out?

There's no doubt that companies will make money from this if they can but they are responding to it, they didn't start the ball rolling.

And the market also funds the research and entire faculties of many universities. A lot who advocate extreme ideologies - left or right.
It's all connected

"American universities"
Who were infiltrated by the Frankfurt School communists decades ago and have pervaded most of western academia.
Anyway, at least the mere fact that these unnecssary treatments are being carried out free of charge by the nhs finally proves that they are not short of money, and are probably massively overfunded.

The market has a gain from anything like this. It is creating a new market to be exploited. You talk about the left in this context as not believing in markets but in general even if they are culturally left they are often perfectly happy with markets to support their ideologies. In fact they have to as the market is the only game in town.

Most parties in the UK have tended to be a version of centrist. This is because there were quite a lot of votes to be won there. Over time it’s stretching out as the losers try and grasp at straws.

Eusebio, that may well be the case regarding moral responsibility but it is a separate conversation. In this specific case, gender identity as an ideology is overwhelmingly supported and pushed by the modern left. The academic foundations of it were developed in American universities and the political strength comes originally from the far left of the Democratic Party in the US and the equally far left of the Labour Party in the UK.
The Labour Party has women’s officers who are men in dresses.
The sad thing is how powerful the lobby has become that it has infected all our institutions. To blame it on the free market though is just plain wrong.

Thank you. It mutually beneficial to both. A long term political stitch-up.
Which is why I have never voted for either party. There is no point.

The ideology of the individual as in neo liberal micro economics is a right wing ideology. Having it managed by the state and paid for by tax is more left. When you have one ideology the other side will see how they can benefit from it.

I think that traditional one nation Conservatives have a lot more in common with traditional social democratic Labour than most are prepared to admit.
Hard left, Hard right - too much freedom either way with lack of moral responsibility - both roads lead to madness.
It's been proven time and again over the course of history.
That was my point

The absolute vast majority of the people who suffer with this mental illness do not go under the knife. Many of those that do have it paid for by the NHS.
Either way, without the political pressure behind it, none of these procedures would be conducted by the NHS.
The procedures come as a result of the ideology and the ideology is overwhelmingly hard left.

Does it not occur to you that plenty of surgical consultants are out there making an absolute fortune from gender re-alingnment procedures. A small fraction of these will be on the NHS - but of course these will get all the headlines.
These are also consultants who are giving boob jobs to girls that haven't even left school. It that acceptable? Lots of women getting boob jobs and in most cases there is nothing wrong with them in the first place All sorts of dubious surgical procedures going on with dubious results.
There is a lack of integrity on several fronts and a lot of it is down to greed. Capitalism is good but with freedom comes huge responsibility - which ain't always there.

I think the logic is that, too much freedom leads to the state making laws which force the rest of us to accept gender delusion as normal even in cases involving children. The phenomenal amount of freedom that leads to this mental illness stops at precisely the point where someone challenges it. You’re not free to do that.

Could you please point to the proof of your astonishing claim that RAMPANT CAPITALISM is responsible for this weird gender nonsense?
Or is it just a hunch of yours?

Jaan touched on the subject of suicide rates among trans patients.
The issue should be treated as confusion until the patient reaches puberty, at which point it should be treated as a mental health issue and treated accordingly.
There is I acknowledge a tiny fraction of a percentage of humans who are born with ambiguous genitalia or no genitalia, some of these people require medical intervention at an early stage.
Apart from that, applying Darwin's theory would work for me. Weirdos, perverts and degenerates will be bred out of existence. Good.

I'm not against Capitalism - never have been
I'm not against Social Democracy - never have been
I just don't believe in the negative excesses of either model...This is the 8th most free market country in the world. There are a lot of things going on at the moment which shouldn't be happening.
I have never voted for Labour or the Tory Party...the slave vote mentality just doesn't interest me. They are mutually beneficial to each other - One gets the blame for being too accomodating and allowing extremists while the other quietly scorches the earth in the background.
I thought that was quite easy to understand but like I said people like to make excuses and ridicule a perfectly valid point - clumsily made but I stand by it. Too much freedom financial or otherwise creates too many extreme social side-effects.
Anyway, I'm about to show my dog a new card trick
No hard feelings
